Pandemic Legacy is a co-operative campaign game with an overarching story arc played through 12-24 sessions. The number of sessions depends on how well your group does throughout the course of the story. The game starts similar to classic Pandemic, in which your team of disease-fighting specialists races against the clock to research cures before four plagues get out of hand. But Pandemic Legacy quickly evolves from there, as choices you make in one game session can impact the course of the story arc in future games!  Actions have consequences from one game to the next as you strive to avert global disaster in this stand-alone epic twist on Pandemic.

  • In PARKS, players will take on the role of two hikers as they trek different trails across four seasons. While on the trail, these hikers will take actions and collect memories of the places your hikers visit. These memories are represented by various resource tokens like mountains, forests, and wildlife. Collecting these memories in sets will allow players to trade them in to visit a National Park at the end of each hike.

  • A family of little mice has settled in your house! The cheeky ones don’t mind stealing a few items from you to decorate their mini-home. In their absence you can’t resist the urge to peak in their windows to find out more. What happened to my ring? And where are the keys? What are they doing with my button?

Together, the players will observe the different rooms of the house through the windows before the flashlight goes out.
Then they need to work together to remember the location and direction of the tokens to find as many objects as possible before the little mice return!

  • In Peptide, players compete to link Amino Acids side-by-side, building what’s called a Peptide Chain(another fancy word for a protein). In order to build this protein, players must first make a set of thoughtful selections from a number of openly available Organelle Cards. Selected Organelle Cards are removed from that round’s available options, creating an interactive open-card-drafting mechanic.

  • Rodger recommends using Periodic: A Table of Elements as a way to introduce the periodic table. This lets students see how the periodic table is arranged and how we use it in science. This game allows for a deeper understanding during gameplay and includes a great “The science behind Periodic” resource.
    -Rodger, Retired Science Teacher

Periodic is a board game centered around the periodic table of elements! Players maneuver across the periodic table to collect elements to score Goal Cards, and land on element groups to score points. Players either pay energy to use multiple periodic trends to move across the table, or select just one trend and collect all the energy payed to that trend!

  • Rabbit Island is an exciting place. A giant golden carrot shimmers on the horizon and it’s time to harvest the carrots. Unfortunately the golden carrot and other delicious carrots are on a different island in the lake and the poor rabbits don’t know how to swim. But wait, one clever rabbit has an idea to sink big stones in the water in order to create a bridge between the islands with boards and planks!

Each rabbit quickly starts to build their own bridge, and tries to be the first to reach the giant golden carrot. Unfortunately there aren’t enough boards for all the bridges, so all the rabbits need to use the same bridge pieces. A player who overestimates the length of the planks must stand still and watch the other rabbits hop past on their way to the carrot island. So pay attention and start guessing and building! Encourages spatial thinking!
